We understand how the body works and the mechanics required to keep it functioning optimally. During your sessions, your physical therapist will use their expert knowledge in combination with hands on clinical assessment techniques to assess, diagnose and treat your symptoms. We offer a manual therapy approach, as well as Functional dry needling (IMS) and medical acupuncture to help you return to function as quickly as possible. Hello, I’m Meagan! I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Born and raised in Vancouver, I love the mountains, the ocean, and the city. I consider myself a true Vancouverite.

I am excited to bring a new lens to pelvic floor rehab to the Bump Physio Community. I have been an athlete my entire life competing in various sports including track and field, wrestling, and now as a competitive Olympic weightlifter, I am passionate about treating athletes who struggle with pelvic floor related issues in addition to anyone hoping to return to sport or optimize their day to day activities.

I strive to provide each client with a safe space that is free of judgment in order to work towards their physiotherapy goals. I utilize a person-centered approach to my practice. I believe that an individual’s psychological, physiological and social well-being all play into how they are feeling and strive to help my clients regain confidence and excel in all three aspects using a combination of manual therapy, exercise and patient education.

On my days off, you can catch me hiking with my dog, Kairo, spending the day on my paddle board in the ocean, or training with my team in Richmond in the evenings!

My certifications include Pelvic Health Level 1 & 2 through Pelvic Health Solutions and Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Level 1.
