Hello, I’m Meagan! I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
My love for sport and movement stem from track and field in elementary school, wrestling through my teen years and now as a competitive olympic weightlifter. My personal involvement in sport drives my passion for helping post-partum individuals or those with pelvic or orthopedic conditions return to movement or high-level sport.
I utilize a trauma-informed approach to provide each client with a safe space that is free of judgment in order to work towards their physiotherapy goals. I believe that an individual’s psychological, physiological and social well-being all play into how they are feeling. Through a combination of manual therapy, exercise, patient education, and mindfulness and breathwork, I strive to help my clients improve their overall quality of life.
If you don’t mind some laughter, or a little sprinkle of fun during your physiotherapy appointment, I might just be your gal!
Outside of the clinic, you can catch me hanging out with my dog, Kairo, trying all the new coffee shops around town, or throwing around some heavy weights at the gym.

I take a client-centered approach to treatment, grounded in empathy and collaboration. Together, we’ll work on relieving any immediate pain or tension while also creating a long-term plan to support your overall wellness goals.

Miral Patel
Miral earned her Masters in Physical Therapy degree from Queen’s University in 2012 after completing her undergrad in Health Sciences at the University of Toronto. She discovered her passion for pelvic health early in her career, recognizing a significant gap in care for individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Over the past ten years, Miral has built a deeply rewarding practice supporting clients through pelvic pain, incontinence, pregnancy-related concerns, and postpartum core and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Miral has pursued extensive advanced training in pelvic health and continues to remain up to date on current research to support her clinical practice.
A significant part of Miral’s passion for pelvic health comes from her own lived experience. Having navigated two very different births, one unmedicated vaginal delivery and one planned cesarean section, she understands firsthand the physical and emotional challenges her clients may face.
In her clinical work, Miral combines education, manual therapy, and targeted therapeutic exercise to help clients feel informed and supported at every stage of care. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and encouraged to take an active role in their health.
Outside of the clinic, Miral is a busy mom of two young children, ages 3 and 6. She loves traveling, discovering great food, and enjoying a good glass of wine.

Hi, I’m Katya! I completed my Registered Massage Therapy training at Langara College and am thrilled to be joining the team at Bump Physio & Co.
My journey into massage therapy grew out of my years in the health and wellness industry where I discovered how profoundly movement and mindful touch can help people reconnect with their bodies, heal from injury, build strength, and gain confidence.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Health Science and Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and am a certified Pilates instructor. My background in rhythmic gymnastics and competitive cheerleading instilled in me a deep appreciation for body awareness, alignment, and balance. My goal as a massage therapist is to create a space where clients feel comfortable, cared for, and empowered in their healing process.

Myah Sisson
Hi, I’m Myah!
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and completed my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. I feel incredibly grateful to work in a field as meaningful as pelvic health, supporting individuals through concerns that are often sensitive, overlooked, and deeply impactful to quality of life.
My path into pelvic health grew from a lifelong love of movement and a fascination with how the body adapts, strengthens, and heals. As a former national-level gymnast and now a competitive cheerleader, I have always been drawn to understanding resilience and the mind-body connection. During my practicum at BC Women’s Hospital, I collaborated with antepartum and postpartum clients and had the opportunity to shadow in the Maternal Pelvic Health and Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinics. These experiences reinforced my passion for supporting pregnancy and postpartum recovery, sexual pain, return-to-sport, and complex pelvic floor conditions. In my practice, I strive to bring warmth, empathy, and clear communication to every session, getting to know each individuals’ goals and story so we can build treatment plans that feel personal, effective, and empowering.
Continuing to grow as a clinician is important to me, and I am dedicated to ongoing professional development. I have completed Pelvic Health Level 1 and plan to complete Level 2 by the end of 2026 as part of my commitment to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Outside the clinic, you can find me at cheer practice, lifting weights, trying new workout classes, diving into a good book, exploring new cities, or discovering the best gluten-free eats as a celiac foodie.

Evita Teng
Hi everyone, I’m Evita! I was born and raised in Richmond, British Columbia and I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
I began dancing at the age of three, and it quickly became one of my greatest passions. Dance taught me self-discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic, while also allowing me to connect deeply with my Chinese culture through the artistry of Chinese dance. I’ve been fortunate to share this passion with the community, performing everywhere from the annual Chinatown Parade to Disneyland in Los Angeles and New York City.
My experiences as a dancer, including navigating my own injuries, are what inspired me to pursue physiotherapy. Through dance, I became especially aware of how integral pelvic health, core control, and whole-body coordination are to performance, injury prevention, and overall well-being. These insights sparked my interest in pelvic health physiotherapy and continue to shape how I approach movement and rehabilitation.
I place a strong emphasis on helping my clients better understand their bodies and empowering them to move in ways that feel safe, confident, and meaningful to them. As a practitioner, I am passionate about advocating for pelvic health services for pre and postpartum individuals and working to reduce the stigma surrounding pelvic health concerns. There is no judgment here. Only open ears, open conversations, and a supportive environment.
I have completed my Level 1 Pelvic Health training and the Cesarean Birth & Rehabilitation course through Pelvic Health Solutions and am eager to continue advancing my education through Levels 2 and 3, as well as pursuing certifications in dry needling and clinical Pilates.
Outside of the clinic, you can find me anxiously watching Canucks games, running around with my Yorkie, Ollie, or trying out a new workout class.
